Data Engineer

At BONANA, we build smart RevOps solutions for ambitious B2B companies. HubSpot forms the core of our clients' tech stack, and you make sure that core is fed with clean, reliable data. We're looking for a pragmatic Data Engineer who's a specialist in integrations and migrations, and who knows exactly how to get data into HubSpot the right way.

What you'll do

You're the engineer who makes sure systems talk to each other and data is always accurate. No endless architecture sessions, just hands-on building of solutions that work.

• Data Integrations: You build and maintain connections between HubSpot and other systems such as ERPs, financial tools, and other sources. You mainly work with n8n and are also able to build custom solutions via REST and GraphQL APIs.

• Data Migrations: You migrate data from legacy systems to HubSpot. You ensure a clean data structure, proper mapping, and a reliable end result, with no surprises down the line.

• CRM Data Quality: You understand how a CRM works and know how data needs to be modeled to be usable for sales, marketing, and operations. You help think through the right object structure, field choices, and relationships within HubSpot.

• Hands-on Engineering: You write Python and SQL where needed, and have no trouble debugging API calls, building workflows in n8n, or resolving data inconsistencies.

• Collaboration: You work closely with our Solution Engineers and consultants. They translate client needs into a design; you make sure the technical execution is solid.

How you work

You're a great fit at BONANA if you have:

• Experience: 3-6 years of experience as a Data Engineer, Integration Developer, or similar role, preferably in a B2B environment.

• HubSpot or CRM: You have experience with HubSpot, or have previously worked with another CRM such as Salesforce or Pipedrive, and know how CRM data should be structured.

• Integrations & Migrations: You have demonstrable experience connecting systems via APIs and migrating data between platforms.

• Tooling: You preferably have experience with n8n. Zapier or Make is fine too, but n8n is our tool of choice. You have a solid command of SQL and Python.

• Pragmatic: You're not looking for an environment with big data warehouses and ML pipelines. You actually enjoy solving concrete, well-defined problems properly.

• Communication: You can clearly explain what you're doing and why, and you're not afraid to flag when something isn't technically feasible or needs a different approach.
